Saddleback Maine Ski Area gives you big mountain adventure on peaks stretching to over 4,120 feet. If you hike, walk, run, climb, ski, snowboard, snowshoe, or slide, Saddleback is designed for family fun and enjoyment for all ages and abilities. The 66 alpine ski trails & glades, almost equally distributed among beginner, intermediate, and expert terrain, make Saddleback unequaled for fun, excitement, and challenge. With 5 lifts (two quad chairs and two double chairs and one T-bar), lift lines are virtually unheard of at Saddleback. A cafeteria, lounge, equipment rentals, retail shop, ski school, and nursery are available in the base lodge.
Saddleback has the highest base elevation of any ski resort in New England; and, with a summit elevation of over 4,120 feet, Mother Nature does her part by providing Saddleback with an annual snowfall of over 200 inches. But Saddleback leaves nothing to chance; our snowmaking system provides the slopes with ample coverage. All this snow keeps Saddleback's snowcats busy working the snow into the confidence-building terrain that Saddleback has become noted for.
